Is there a way to change the font or color of the page heading? Also once you insert your own picture can you put text or links over the picture so the picture is the background?

Hi Mike,

You need to add some HTML code to change the colour of the heading words (drag and drop an HTML widget to the top of your page - you'll need to do this on every page) by using the following code:

<!-- <style> #menu li a:hover { color: #B3DEDF; text-decoration: underline; } </style> -->

remember to remove < !-- and -- > these have been added so that the code is not interpreted in this post

B3DEDF - shows the colour code, visit www.colorpicker.com for more options and replace it with the colour you prefer!

To add text to a picture, I recommend that you upload the picture you would like to use, and edit it in Picnik (there is a direct link to Picnik from the upload dialogue box). You will be able to add text, adjust your image etc on Picnik, it's a great tool!

Please let us know if you need any other information?

Where at the top of the page does the html widget need to be? The page doesn't allow it within the banner space and when I place it within a column below and enter/revise the code, nothing happens...

Hello Viola

I believe that Marije accidentally gave you the wrong code as that code is for changing a menu hover color.

Currently, there really isn't a way to change the page heading color. What you can do is create your own banner and set it up with the colors and text you like and then upload your banner. I hope this helps.
