Editing uploaded photo in Sitebuilder

I upload photos to my site, resize them and center them. That's all. Lately, when I try to center them, the photo disappears. The widget placeholder is still there and sometimes I can see what looks like the red outlined bottom edge of the photo just barely out from underneath the little blue edit bar of the widget. I cannot get the photo to display.

Usually, after several attempts of exiting Sitebuilder and reuploading the photo, it will stay. But today it is not. I can't figure it out.

My site name is ahappywindow.com. Thanks!

Hello Kmv1109

I have checked the pictures which you have uploaded to your Yola File Manager so far, and their sizes are all between 300-700KB. We recommend to downsize images to 20-100KB to use on a website because large image files can cause your site slow to load, and your storage space limit may be reached too soon.

This could also be the reason why your images won't be displayed in your Sitebuilder at some times. You should be able to sort this out by clicking on the round arrow icon in the upper menu bar of the Sitebuilder, next to the page selector. This will update the Sitebuilder view, and your picture should display. However, the best way is to downsize your pictures, and the problem should be solved.

I have tested inserting an image on a test page of your website, and it worked fine for me, also after centering it.

If the problem still persists, please let me know
  • which browser, browser version and operating system you are using

  • if the issue is solved when you use a different browser or work on a different computer
. Thanks.
