You are hosting my domain purchased from GoDaddy for my bgreendecoratingproducts.com site. I have set up my email accounts at GoDaddy and would like to know if there is anything else I must do for them to work. Should my email address links work in preview mode since my site is not published yet?

Thanks,

Lauren

I have my domain registered with someone other than Synthasite also...I also have my email account with the other company. I am going to assume godaddy like the company I use will host your email account not Synthasite.Your answers should be with the people at godaddy.I would like to recommend Thunderbird email client to you though...it is from the people at Mozilla/Firefox

Hi Lauren

John is correct. If GoDaddy manages your domain, they need to help you with email. If everything is set up correctly through them you should not have any difficulty.

Your email links should work in preview mode even if your site is not published, provided the links are valid.

I hope you can get this worked out. If not, email us in support and we will try to set up a dialog with GoDaddy's support team and yourself. We have found them most helpful in the past.

Thank You, John for your help. Monique, can you tell me how to correct a hyperlink when I have entered the wrong email address?
1.Do I highlight the link again, click on the link icon, and put in the correct email address.
2. or do I delete the link altogether and start over.
3. or look at the html and correct the mistake there.

Hi Pickles - all 3 steps should work, but I recommend using 2 and 3 to be sure.

Thanks, Marije..

What I discovered was that #1 only confuses the situation by leaving a second html link coding and not correcting the first incorrect link coding. Under that situation the email can be sent, but will be thrown back to you with an error message. Deleting the original link, #2, and entering the correct email address, or using #3 method are the better ways for editing the link.

Well, at least I know how to edit a hyperlink. This is the tough love way of learning. You can go blind looking at the html coding. Don't know how you do it every day, but I can appreciate your dedication and the patience.

Bunch of roses and a box of chocolate for you,

Lauren
