Hello,
My domain has been expired (fungames122.com) on Yola. But on domaintools.com shows it is not expired. Please enable my domain so that I can successful transfer it to Hosting24, otherwise I can't do anything with the domain.

If I register the domain, not allowed. Because still active.
If I transfer, Yola unable my domain.

How can I do? I stucked at the middle. I have contacted you via email, but no replies :(

Regards,
Mai

Hello Mai,

The last email I am able to locate from you was back on January 11. 2013 concerning a domain transfer. I have not seen any recent emails over the last few days. I'm sorry that we never received them.

According to WHOIS, your domain expired on February 25, 2013. You are able to renew your domain still with us if you wish and then transfer your domain away to your new domain reigistrar.

You can do this by going to your My Yola page > Domains and clicking on "Renew" next to your domain.

Please let me know if you have further questions.

Hello,
I thought I have submitted a form at Yola Contact Us?

Is there any other methods which I can do without losing any $$$ at Yola? Because if I successfully transferred my domain to Hosting24, I no need to pay for any domains. All domains are totally free.

And, according to DomainTools.com WHOIS, my domain is expired on 25 February 2014. So why in Yola told me wrong dates? I rather make my domain really expire so that my hosting provider can register easier than transferring.

Best regards,
Mai

Hi Mai,

Upon review of your current subscription status I see you have let your hosting package (Yola Silver) expire as of 2013-01-24. This is why your website is not available. You are of course free to register your domains with any provider you prefer but in order to use them to host a website on Yola.com a hosting subscription such as Yola Bronze, Silver or Gold, is required.

Hello Mai

I've discussed your Yola account with one of our Payments specialists, and what I can tell you is that the expiry date of your domain given by whois is unfortunately incorrect. For some reason there is an error on their end. From our records your domain expired on 25 Feb 2013. This makes sense as it hasn't been registered until 2014 with Yola. Also, as Laura mentioned above, your Yola Silver hosting package expired in January this year.

I'm not sure if you can get free custom domains with Hosting24. When I go to their website, I can't see any free option. If you're sure that you can have your domain with them for free, transferring your domain from Yola to them would be no option for you because you'de need to first renew your domain with us to be able to do that. What you pay with us would be pro-rated with your new registrar, but if they don't charge you for domain hosting, this wouldn't make sense.

However, if they really host your domain for free, you will need to wait about 3 months until it becomes available for purchase again, and then try to reregister it with Hosting24.

Hello,
Wow, so you would say I need to renew the domain from Yola then I transfer then I throw away my half year or else I need to wait for 3 months? Then it really unfair.

Hosting24 mentioned free domain on this page, http://www.hosting24.com/features.php , the first colmn of the pricing table. "Free Premium Domain". :P Worth to transfer :P :P

And, not only domaintools.com says, name.com also says it expire next year.
Here's screenshot of name.com http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/scr...

Look like your TwoCows.inc did not update :P :P But :(

Best wishes,
Mai

Hi Mai,

We would recommend renewing your domain before transfer, as this ensures that the domain is up to date and the transfer will be completed correctly. Your domain's remaining registration period will be transferred to your new host, meaning you won't lose any time on your domain.

Your domain is currently in the grace period (the 40 days in which you can renew it after it has expired) and you can try transferring it while it is in this period, however we cannot ensure that the transfer will be completed.

Once the domain has passed the 40 day grace period, it enters what is known as a redemption phase (which can last anywhere between 2-3 months) and once it has passed this phase will you only be able to buy your domain again.

I hope this information helps you with your decision.

Thanks!

Hi Jackie,
Oh yeah. Please fix the transfer code and resend me, make sure the transfer code (EPP) is valid. Not invalid or giving my hosting provider errors. I'll try to transfer to see it success or cannot.

Warm regards,
Mai

Hello Mai,

I have updated the EPP code and sent it to you. You can expect to receive the email from our domain registration partner OpenSRS/Tucows with the code.
