Hi,

Trying to change the nameservers of my .com.br domain, waited 24 hrs and still no luck. I keep getting this error: "405: Registry error, domain's nameservers not updated [Command failed text Command failed [ns1.iconehost.net: Query refused;ns2.iconehost.net: Query refused]]".

My domain: www.muonlinepvp.com.br
NameServer's is: ns1.iconehost.net
NameServer's is: ns2.iconehost.net

Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

Hi Hemerson,

An error is being returned when you enter those nameservers meaning the request is being refused. Please contact them to confirm the nameservers you should be using.

Hi Laura,

I came in contact with the staff, and they confirmed me the nameservers:
ns1.iconehost.net
ns2.iconehost.net

Can you help me?

Hi Hemerson,

Based on the error being returned it sounds like it's at the nameservers end but I will have a colleague who specializes in DNS settings investigate this further. She will reply to you via direct email.

Hi Hemerson,

The nameservers were not recognised by our registry. I have added these to our registry so you should no longer receive the error message. Please try adding the nameservers again and let us know if you get another error.

Hi Hemerson,

If you aren't worried about your privacy on our public Support Forum, you could share the IP address associated with these records and I will try and add them. If you'd prefer, you can also send us this information via e-mail to support@yola.com.

Hi Hemerson,

They would be the IP's for the nameservers:

eg:
ns1.iconehost.net 216.245.204.218
ns2.iconehost.net 216.245.204.219

Hi Hemerson,

I have tried adding these nameservers on our backend system and I get an error message that these nameservers are invalid.

Please check if these nameservers are valid with the host that gave them to you and let me know.
