errors when i try to change the email associated with my account.

I am trying to change the email address associated with my Profile. Each time I do, I get a message:
"Oops! The network seems to be experiencing problems, please try again later. [Close]"
This has been going on for about a week ... just how much later should i try??

This happens for any field i try to change (email / firstname / lastname).

I am following the directions listed here:

Am i doing something wrong, or is the network truly experiencing problems?

Hi John,

I'm sorry you are having this problem!

Can you please try a few things for me and then go in and try to change the email again:

Can you please try clearing your cache, here is a link with information on how to do this: Clear Your Browser's Cache.

Try using a different browser such as Firefox if you are not all ready using it. We find that his browser seems to work best in the Yola environment: Download Firefox.

Please give this a try and then let us know if you are still having troubles.

Hi John,

Sorry to hear about the issues. Also make sure that the email you are trying to change to has not previously been registered on the system - this will cause an error.

Thanks! I went with the 'all of the above' approach and that seemed to do the trick:
Clearing the IE cache - no luck.
Using Firefox - got me further to where i realized i had never registered that first email account.
After registering the email account i was in good shape.

I am having the same problem, I tried clearing the cache and I am using Firefox. The email address I am changing to hasn't been used at Yola but it is associated with my website through Google Apps. Thanks.

Just to clarify - you are not changing your email address for your Yola account but for your Google Apps account?

No, I am doing the opposite of what you said. I am changing the email address under which my Yola account is registered. Just as if I were transferring the account to another address. The new address happens to be with the Google Aps account associated with my website.

I just transferred the account a few weeks ago. Now I need to transfer is again.

Did you follow these steps to change your email address:

* Log into your account.
* Click on the link that says "Edit Profile" under the "My Sites" tab.
* You will be taken to a page where you can change your email address. Click on "Save" once you are done.

You should receive a verification email to your new email address asking you to verify the change. Once you have done this you will be able to log into your account with your new email address.

Can you please try this again and if you are still having an issue, please us know.

I followed all those directions, and the suggestions above in this thread, and I always get the error message in the first post of this thread. I have tried this at least six times over the past two days and always get the same error message.

As I said I just did this recently with this account and had no problems, now I am trying it again and can not do it for a second time.

And, yes, I just tried it and had the same problem.
