Exams, Tests and Quizzes

I've a need for an online quiz/exam/test for some time. There are some freebies out there but the one's I've come across have had shortfalls for my applications. I've tried to adapt and modify various forms but I always come up with less than amateurish. There's a site called proprofs.com where you can create your online quizzes and store them on their servers. The quizzes can be embedded or simply sent as links. There's a score system and reporting system. You can set up allowed time, pass rates, explanations etc. For others with a similar need I think it's a winner.

I still have one problem though: how can I select a test from a list on my web page for testing?

Do what I have...have a page that have all your test's listed. Then have a link going to each test. If that not what you want, please post more. Hope this helps-Dan

Thank you Dan,

When you do that how does the test display?

Maybe if I looked at your work it would help me. Can you tell me the URL please Dan?

Hi Peter - I think you're looking to create sub-pages with a page on your menu that has a list of the sub-pages that people can click on - is that right?

We have a tutorial that has info on creating sub-pages: http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/c...

I did test the code from proprofs.com by embedding it on one of my sites and it works well on SynthaSite!

Wow. You did that Marije? Thanks for fitting that into all that you must have been buried under today.

You identified my aims perfectly and now that I know it can be done I'll follow through.I hope that it's a resource of interest to others as well.

Gratefully.

No problem! It's quite easy to copy the code and add it to your site using an HTML widget - so didn't take too long for me to try out.
