A,B and D ... most people on here would create their own site using Yola

Come on more responses please!

Hi there EY ...

I checked out the link as I had never heard of this service, I was referring to Yola working with the HP designers.

After seeing the link and noticing Yola does not update ... they seem to let anybody that wants to be listed get on the list. Good news is ... you are the only one in your area.

after noticing that you are in the Barbados ... I have a solid solution that will help you more than Google could ever help. (I will not go into how stupid Google has become with their Spam style paid advertising)

The lifestyle in Barbados is much more laid back than in NewYork and would result in less people being online. Many businesses would also be reluctant to go online.

It is the Island lifestyle people live for and the web just does not fit in that well ... however the truth is every business is getting online today ... even if it is only to keep up with the Jones'.

The best way for you to have your Web Design Business Fly like an Eagle is through Direct Mail Marketing.

Go see your local printer and tell him you want to produce a direct mail campaign for your business ... then you design a really sharp full color PostCard (include a coupon code for first time customers ... people love to believe they are getting a deal)

Print lots of extras so you and your friends can also personally deliver them ...
deliver to everyone from Food Carts to Banks.

Trust me on this .... I work in Marketing, Brand Development and Print Management.

You will become one of the busiest design firms on the island.

cheers and all the best
Todd

Sorry Alex ... your attitude seems very negative ... could be the reason tellyads has no chance to become anything other than your hobby that only you are paying any attention to ... think YouTube as what you are trying to compete with ... just not gonna happen.

now back to EY in the islands ...
Yola is not in Barbados and if you know anything about the islands ... people there want to see and meet the person or company giving their business an online image .... (it is an island thing, Nassau would work the same way)
EY is actually onto something very positive here ... with some hard work, this will be profitable in Barbados.

All the best EY ... and TwillyAds ... you also enjoy doing whatever you are doing ... as long as you enjoy your little online hobby ... be happy not bitter.

cheers

Your attitude seems to be rather negative towards Alex, every site made with Yola has the potential to grow from being just a 'hobby'. Every site has competitors, it's practically the law of the internet now. Just think, he's competing with YouTube, so what? I'm competing with loads of different web-apps that offer easy Twitter status posting. Yet I'm still doing fine, average of 70 - 80 users a day, and rising. Please do not try and be demeaning towards other users of this service.
Many thanks,
Callum Booth

Guys, instead of responding to somebodies negative comment in a negative way politely say that you don't agree.
I don't want to sound like a good too shoes but these comments are in a way against communities guidelines.

Be constructive with your criticism

Professional critics have something to teach us: They foster healthy conversation and debate without ever attacking people personally. Think about that when responding to others, and ask yourself the question: Would you say it to their face?

Remember the forums are here to get advise on each others sites and problems. Not to start a war :)

Thanks c2 print once again I am not sure if your analysis of Barbados is right though. It is the business hub of the Caribbean and most companies are online. expertyola.com is actually a subsidiary of www.kissbarbados.com.

Thank you Alex for your feedback also.

I shall try this idea in other islands though.
