Hello

I have created a Favicon, and uploaded via site manager, however this is currently not showing on all pages?

Is there any way I can fix this to show on all of my pages?

Thanks

Hi again plumpedlipssmokeyeyes,

It's showing on all pages with Chrome, all pages bar your forum on FF and none with IE8. (Sorry I don't have IE7)

When I checked your favicon it's in a png format. I think that it's best to convert it to an .ico format for cross browser consistency. Here is an online facility which will help you do that.

PS: Chrome isn't displaying your favicon in the address bar but only on the page tab.

Hi plumpedlipssmokeyeyes,

Internet Explorer doesn't support displaying favicons next to your URL or on the tab or the window when you open the site. The favicon will only be displayed if the site is bookmarked and in your Favorites folder. However, Firefox displays the favicon in the address bar, the tab or window and in your bookmarks menu. Unfortunately this is browser behavior over which we have no control.

What you can do if you wish is to create a cross-browser favicon. If you would like more information on how to create a cross-browser favicon, please check out this thread where one of our Champs has given some instructions on how to do this: Cross Browser Favicon. Gop's suggestion of using an .ico image may also help with this.
