Hi Mark,

To add your own favicon to your site this is what you need to do:

1. Click on the properties sidebar.
2. You will see a "Favourites Icon" field (the second last box from the top). Click on the browse button to the right of the box to browse your desktop for an image to upload.
3. To see what your favicon will look like, save and preview your page.

Please note that Internet Explorer doesn't allow favicons to be displayed next to your URL or on the tab of the window. The favicon will be displayed if the site is bookmarked and in your Favourites folder. The best option would be to change to Firefox which does show the favicons in all three areas.

If you Google for favicon, you'll find quite a few free favicon generators that you can use.

I hope that helps!

Hi Mark

If you need a favicon image but don't know how to make one, you can always do a search for "free favicons". I found this site that looks promising: http://www.faviconsr.us

It is a free directory of favicons. If you see one you like, right click on it, click "save image as" then download it onto a file, then follow the steps Marije listed above on uploading a favicon to your site

But don't follow the instructions that Favicons R Us gives you because that doesn't work on synthasite.

Hope this helps

Just ask if you have questions
