Attempting to delete a number of files (45) in a folder automatically opened 45 new copies of FF each with a blank screen and an address like: http://sitebuilder.yola.com/V0021930/...#

this is reproducible

FF v5.0
cache cleared
Java and Flash OK

Hello Gop,
Wow, I have never heard of anything like that before, sounds very strange to me. If I am understanding correctly, did you right click on the folder, or highlight all of the files you wanted to delete, choose to delete them and then the above happened? I can't imagine why Firefox would open 45 new screens and I'd like to give this a try. Would it be ok with you if I tried to delete the files you are speaking of to see if I am able to replicate this? If so, you can either give me your URL here along with the folder you're trying to delete or a few of the files. Let me know and I can continue to assist.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

I was able to delete the files. I selected each file by R clicking.
have just tried again and simply r clicking now is opening new copies of FF when in the File Manager. And now no option to delete or anything else other than the select facility on the lower right of the manager screen.

I have reset the computer and this hasn't cleared the issue.

You know, that is so odd. I have just tested this in a test account and am also see the new page open up, what I see as the main culprit right now is the "Shift" key which would be used when trying to select multiple files at once to perform an action. Unfortunately I cannot fix this for you right now, however I will be logging this as a bug with our engineering team and it will be looked at for a fix. In the meantime you'll have to either select a single file at a time or just close the extra windows that open. Thanks much for your patience while we take a look at this.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Glad you got a lead on the issue Emmy. Another observation is that trying to download files as a zip folder does the same thing and of course I tagged the files using the Shift facility. So more weight I guess to add to your reasoning.

Hi Gop,

I wanted to touch base and see how things are going for you. Everything appears to be sorted on our end and I am confident that it is fixed on your end, too.

You may want to clear your browser's cache.

Certainly let us know if you are still experiencing any errors. Thanks!
