So I started a new site. It's a sports one called: www.TalkSports.yolasite.com
I've finished my homepage, but I feel as if more is needed to it. Like some spice or something.
Any thoughts on my site so far? Is it good? Bad?
What's the deal?

Plus, COULD ANYONE PLEASE MAKE ME A BANNER?

Hey there,

If you still want a banner, send me your details, color preferences etc, and I will give you a hand, usually I would charge for this, but if you are really happy with your design, perhaps you could post a message on the forum so I could get work coming through. Also, I don't have loads of time to spend on it, so get in quick!

I'm a photoshop pro!

Cheers

The site looks pretty good, one recommendation is to state your different opinions on things as you write about the baseball and other stuff.

You gotta love boredom and nothing else to do... LOL I had a little extra time and thought why not build a banner...

Hi Sports

Just an idea for you but you might wish to change your site name to something more legal friendly. "Sports Talk" is too trademarked and copyrighted for a site name or logo. While its easy and short it is and has been used by countless sports channels and TV stations and I do recall it is on one of those "Gotta pay me" lists of names to use.

That said... here is my take on a website name and banner with logo. This took me the better part of an hour and a few different online resources to make. Sadly they did not have a football player so I had to settle on a helmet and ball. I chose "Talkin Bout Sports" as a title because it is quite a memorable name as well as being free to use and trademark as well as use as your domain name.

If you like it then I am happy and if not no worries ;)

It is sized to the banner dimensions of the style you are using and should be a plug and play without resizing banner.

You have three options;

1) 72KB

2) 35KB

3) 28KB

I added the file sizes to allow you to chose the size and quality. To view and or save them simply click on the image to see it enlarged (opens in a new window) and in its normal state then save.

Happy site building
Ed

I had a play with a banner tonight so here you go! All the text can be changed easily should you like the banner and you change your site name.

Your site looks great. Nice banner and easy to navigate.

Just a word of caution, don't forget to cite your sources if you are getting information from somewhere else. Remember that if you copy someone else's words exactly this is plagiarism and you can be violating their copyright. Even if you change the words around you still need to say where you got the information from.
