Technically, no, but why would you want to? This sounds extremely annoying to me! :) You could probably use a gif animation. Or use one of the templates such as Squeaky Clean, or No Frills and just add the Flash in an html widget then add text boxes on top of it by messing with the margins (in the properties box on the right side).

Hello Song Sun

Diane is correct. You will not be able to add a flash file to your background. You can embed snippets of flash code if you wish. Here are the steps to do so:

1) Upload your .swf file. You can do this by clicking on the File Manager button.
2) Drag and drop a HTML widget onto your site, where you would like to see your flash presentation, and paste the following HTML inside it:

<object width="200" height="400">
<param name="movie"value="resources/myswffile.swf">
<embed src="resources/myswffile.swf"width="200"height="400"/>

3) Then substitute "myswffile.swf" in the code above - in both places, with the name of the file you uploaded, and you should see the flash movie appear when you close the HTML editor. You'll need to play around with the width and height values in the text above, to suit your movie's needs.
4) Remember to include any folder names in the file path if your file is stored in a folder in the File Manager. For example: "resources/Flash folder/myswffile.swf"

Probably the best option is to go with Diane's idea of creating a .gif animation that you add as your background.

Yola gives you the option to either change the background color of your style or upload your own background image, or both! You can also apply it to all the pages! **Please note** that some styles do not have this option. If you want to know if the option to edit the background image is available for a particular style, see the Yola Style Guide.

**Edit the page background color:**

1. Click on "Edit Page Design" and then "Format Background".
2. A dialog box will open, click on the down-arrow next to "Background Fill" and the color picker will open.
3. Select the color you would like to use and click on "OK". If you know the Hex value of the color you would like to use, enter it into the space provide (here's a link to a Hex color code chart).

**Upload your own background image:**

1. Click on "Edit Page Design" and then "Format Background".
2. A dialog box will open, check the box next to "Use a background image" and click on the "Select" button.
3. The File Manager will open where you can either upload the file from your computer or if it's already uploaded, select it from the File Manager.
4. Once uploaded, customize your settings - whether you would like the image to tile (repeat), where you would like the background to be located on the page and if you would like the background to scroll with the page or not.

**Apply to all pages:**

You can choose to apply the same background to all of the pages on your site instead of changing the background on each page individually:

1. Click on "Edit Page Design", then click on "Format Background" and "Apply to All Pages".
2. A dialog box will open asking you to confirm whether you would like to apply the change to all the pages on your site, click on "Apply and Save" if you would like to go ahead.
