Hi ken

you should have two pieces of coding. One the actual movie and 2 the embedding code.

the movie goes into the File Manager it has the file type .swf and the embed code/driver you place into an HTML placeholder on your page where you want to show the movie

I overlooked the fact that you wouldn't be able to pl;ace it in a normal banner placemark with Yola. You would have to use a style that allowed a high placement of code.

Hi Ken,

Here are the instructions for adding a flash file to your page:

1) Upload your .swf file to the File Manager
2) Drag and drop a HTML widget onto your site, where you would like to see your flash presentation, and paste the following HTML inside it:

<!--
<object width="200" height="400">
<param name="movie"value="resources/myswffile.swf">
<embed src="resources/myswffile.swf"width="200"height="400"/>
</object>
-->

3) Then substitute "myswffile.swf" in the code above - in both places, with the name of the file you uploaded, and you should see the flash movie appear when you close the HTML editor. You'll need to play around with the width and height values in the text above, to suit your movie's needs.
4) Remember to include any folder names in the file path if your file is stored in a folder in the File Manager. For example: "resources/Flash folder/myswffile.swf"

Kind Regards,
Emmy

I'm not sure but I don't think that code will work for sound Emmy.

Ken can you wrap the code in <!-- and --> so that we can have a look at it?

Wow! dramatic intro.

You've done well with the page. Congratulations.

One question: The slide image sizes. They seem to be very slow in loading and I'm wondering if they would tolerate cutting back on the file sizes? If you can it may be worth while reducing the image sizes to say 50 kb/image. that should see a smoother and more rapid load of the slide.
