Get a flying reindeer on your website... A Honey Bear Playhomes tip...

Okay, so this one was way crazy... I started with a thought of just a simple image of a reindeer floating across the screen and you know me, after the better part of the afternoon and evening I ended up with this. http://tester2.synthasite.com/reindee...

I took an animated GIF reindeer image and split it into its 8 individual frames, then for each image erased the background and shadow to make them transparent and then inserted them all into my flash program where I spent more time than I would like to admit making them do their thing across the bottom of the screen.

This is what I had to work with:

Another 3 or so hours working on the code plus making it look just right in the site builder and ensuring that it looks great on any resolution screen.

With as much work as this one took I think that this will be my last Christmas gift this season... LOL I am emotionally and physically spent...

I hope that you enjoy it. ;)

Every 10 second he will fly in, land and then run off.

P.S. Seeing as how the flash takes up the bottom 250 pixels of the screen just make sure that you add some empty space at the bottom in your site builder to ensure that all your content is accessible to your viewers. A blank text widget with a dozen clicks should do.

Happy site building
Ed

7 hours later I am looking at the reindeer with fresher eyes and have to admit how cool I think it looks. Nice when you can impress yourself. ;) LOL

Hi Allen

Just paste the following code BETWEEN the <!-- and the --> into an HTML widget on your site...

<!--
<script src="http://tester2.synthasite.com/resourc..." type="text/javascript"></script>
-->

It's that simple... ;)
