I designed my site using Arial and its an almost text only website, I made sure to "clean" the text in a text only program before double checking ARIAL and Normal in the size and font of each page template but when opened in Explorer each page appears with a different size font and even different font type that it appears on the preview and on the macs that it was created.
What can I do, it is very important for us the both the text and font remain consistent.

Hello raindorado

I'm sorry to hear that you're sad. Unfortunately, browsers will interpret codes differently and therefore render your website content slightly different from eachother.

I'm glad to hear that you've been pasting your text into Notepad or something similar. This definitely helps. Would you mind posting your URL so I can determine if there may be something else going on?

Thank you Sanja, however "slightly different" is not what we are experiencing we are seeing completely different formatting and fonts and in a text only design it makes a huge difference,no matter how many times we clean texts from previous formats and check the Arial font and normal or small sizes. It is very frustrating,I just sent an email to you with the URL because we don't want the site posted ANYWHERE in its current state.

Thank you I hope you are able to help me display the pages correctly in the Arial font and optimize them so they remain consistent in explorer, and if this is not possible I hope you can point me in an alternative solution thanks

Hi Rain,

I've just replied to your email with this info:

I attach a screenshot of the same page, side-by-side in IE and Firefox. To me, there is a very slight difference because this is how different browsers render different content and not something that we can control.

You write that some pages display a completely different font (not Ariel). Could you let me know which specific page this is? I did go through a few of the pages on your website and they were behaving as expected to me.

Could you confirm which browser (and version - IE6, IE7 etc) you see the different font.
