I wish that I could add a footer as an element. I have a 2 column design, and I just cant seem to create a decent footer with a test box because it will only cover one side of the page. Not having a footer makes my site look a bit amateurish.

Am I missing something here? Is there a way to add a footer? If not please consider this for future updates.

Thanks!

Hi Brian -

You can make what essentially would look like a footer, but as you note, you can't have it break across two columns.

That said, we are definitely looking to increase footer functionality and give people the ability to have a consistent footer across pages, but we don't have an actual footer "widget" at this time.

This sort of feedback is exactly what we need to know what features are most important to you, though, so thank you, and please keep it coming!! Good to know I'm on the right track working on the footer!

Thanks,

Stephanie

Thanks for the speedy reply Stephanie. Yes, a footer widget would solve my problem. Hopefully we will see one soon.

If you change your layout to 1 column then create your 2 columns with the column divider, you could have a footer that goes across the bottom. Hope that makes sense, if not let me know and I will try to explain further.
