Hi, Safi,

You need to use a negative margin to push it up. You will need to add this in your code: margin-top: -150px. You will need to fiddle with the number to fit it exactly. I hope this helps.

Hi, Safi,

Sorry for the delay. I have tested several different codes and work arounds but I cannot get the code to move up and look right at the same time. If you can wait, I will ask the HTML team to take a look at this and see if they can suggest something.

If anyone on the forum has an idea, please suggest away! :)

If I were you the easiest way to make the buttons rise up closer to the text would be to:

1) Drag a 2-column widget below the new footer menu text widget.
2) Drag/slide the center divider line of the 2-column widget to the right.
3) Drag the HTML widget with your Digg button code into the right side of the 2-column widget.
4) Set the upper/top margin settings of the 2-column widget to a negative value between -150 to -300 (Note: If you have any content below the Digg buttons you might be required to add a positive value in the bottom/lower margin settings box to ensure that it does not follow your buttons up)
5) Adjust the margin settings until you are satisfied with the placement of your buttons under the "share this website" text.
6) Adjust the center divider line of the 2-column widget (step 2) until you are satisfied with the horizontal placement under the "share this website" text.

That should layer your buttons just under your text...

Happy site building
Ed

I know this has already been solved, but I remember Nathan Johnson gave me a code a while ago that allowed me to put some images down the side. I used it to put adverts on the right margin ,but I'm sure you could change which margins are in it and get it to suit you.

I would tell you what it is, but I lost it when I was changing my site. I deleted the page it was on and I forgot it was there. I'll contact Nathan and ask him for it again.

I know it was kind of pointless posting if I don't have the code, but it will mean that I do it and it also offers a second choice.
