Ajahn, These are small issues we've talked before about. They are just mistakes that Yola overlook in the short term.

I think that Silver is good for you and your business as it has grown very big with the use of your website. Your group is making good profit each weekend with your hard work and your resources on your three websites between each of you. You have a very well respected and admired group of professional people in your team. Don't let a bad thing like this disturb you

When Yola finish the Mobile account development that will help you again as discussed and with so many Thai people using iPhones and others, this will hold your place as a group of developed educators and the development of Education in Thailand. I don't think that any other website builder would be so convenient for you.

Yola do have problems as we know and I understand your frustration with them but please just ignore it and I think that it will be good.

Hi Sunthawat,

I agree that this is very frustrating and as Gop has mentioned this is a problem that crops up from time to time. Something that could be helpful is if you could let us know whether you have republished all your sites since you upgraded to Yola Silver?

I have fixed the issue on our side. Could you please try republishing the sites that had the Yola Link on them? If you are still seeing the link, please let us know.

I have been talking with Ajahn Sun for a long time on the phone. He feels very vulnerable with Yola and he is locked in. His site is the work of four years development adding material a couple of times a week and running weekend seminars and doing advanced grad and post grad studies.

He has had many, many problems with yola directly and indirectly. He collaborated originally with another person but this ended because of Yola. There was an initial transfer of the domain from Google to Yola which was advised by a Yola staff person. The advice was that this would take 5 days. No nearly 3 weeks! This was very bad beginning to the problems.

He moved his blog from another blog provider with direct advice from Yola and made multiple backups until the backup facility was cancelled and now with problems of the Yola blog can do very little to guarantee that this wont' be ended.

Renewal of his domain was invariably mis-handled and was compensated for by registration of the intended time.

This year he renewed his domain and his hosting plan (Bronze) which coincide. Somehow Yola separated these two by a period of two months and couldn't resolve it much to his frustration and for a number of reasons wasn't suitable. Another Yola issue in his eyes. Once again compensation with Bronze for a year and the domain for a year. Despite his pleas the coincidental timing of renewal couldn't be fixed. He was furious to be told by Yola staff on how to manage his affairs in effect and felt that because he was compensated that he owed them or they expected an owing attitude. There was nothing he could do to pay for this and set the times to coincidental recurrence.

Then he received a threatening email from Yola telling him if he wasn't satisfied he could move on. Four years of subscription and being told to move on?

Today he upgraded to Silver on my suggestion being removal of the Footer and the use of the Mobile publishing. For 6 hours he republished his site and did all the normal hygiene site tasks but the Footer persisted. He was frustrated that the money had been taken but the service wasn't forthcoming. Not only that but the Mobile Publishing doesn't come through, not even the navigation!.

I have checked each website of your account, and they are all displayed without the Yola Footer on my end. Please clear your browser's cache if you should still see the footer. Here is an example for your reference:



I have also checked the Mobile version of your website http://ediblyasian.info/ on an iPhone, and the "More" button is working for me. Here is what I see:

When I check your Yola account and go to your Mobile preview, I can see exactly the same. The reason is that you only use custom HTML code on your website. But as custom HTML code has not been working well with Mobile publishing, it has finally been disabled for Mobile sites. This means that custom HTML code added to HTML Widgets will not be displayed on your Mobile Site. For detailed reasons please read what one of our engineers wrote on this thread: Mobile and Facebook formatting.

If you want to properly display your website for Mobile Publishing, you will need to use the provided design of your Style and the usual Widgets, such as Text and Picture Widgets. If you take every link out of your navigation in order to put your custom navigation menu in its place, these custom menu links will not show up under the "More" button on your Mobile version. The More button can only show links added to the normal navigation menu.

If you want text, pictures, horizontal lines, etc. etc. to be displayed on your Mobile site, you will need to use the Widgets designed for this.

It means that Sun believes you have a selfless heart only for the reason of making the person believe you think that they are important. The middle word on the top line means "you" but is an honorific pronoun rarely used.

The lower line says "thank you very much"
