GoingUp - Web Analytics & SEO

--- What Is It? ---

GoingUP has been made to help webmasters to monitor traffic to their website and see trends in the users clicks. It gives frequently updated statistics on the latest happenings on your website to keep you in the know.

SEO? - Search Engine Optimization - how well designed your site is according to a number of factors that limit how well it does in rankings in a search engine

--- Design ---

The website is nice and simple to use, easy to navigate with clear navigation buttons and registering is also very simple and FREE. Once active the general summary page is brilliant and customizable to your needs to ad everything from your Google Rank to how many pages are in search engines index for your website.

--- Installation ---

The installation was nice and simple and offered many choices of 'button' for your website. The fact that I would need to display the GoingUP badge on my site was initially off putting but it is quite a nice feature as it can have statistics to show users how well your site is doing. Personally I chose to have an invisible badge which simply acts as a way to get statistics and doesn't show to visitors.

Please note that you will need a small amount of web knowledge to implement the script but as long as you know how to open the web pages in an editor then it is simply a case of copy-paste into an HTML widget on your website.

--- Features ---

Multiple Websites - Ability to add multiple websites to your profile to track them with a drop down selection within the statistics to quickly switch which stats you are viewing.

Summary Page - Add an ever growing selection of features to your summary page to show the websites latest visitors, where they're from, how they go to your site, recent keywords on search engines. There is also graphs plotting visitors to your site over a select number of days (i.e. over a 7 day period) and shows unique visitors against page views, another great tool to help see how many visitors are clicking more than just the home page.

Technical - you can dig nice and deep into seeing what a visitor has done on your site including the browser they use and even the top resolution of screen and operating system.

Keyword Density - Here you can view a page of your website and have it analyzed to see how SEO friendly it is to see how likely you are to show up for a particular keyword.

Extras - many many more features such as a Heat Map to show where your visitors are spending most of their time on your site (i.e hovering over a particular phrase a long time)

--- Ease Of Use ---

Brilliantly easy to use and install, great to navigate and tons of new features being added bit by bit. A real contestant against Google!

--- Cost ---

FREE for up to 1,000 entries in the log (statistics) per website or $14.95 gets you 5,000 per log etc going up to 10,000.

--- Why Bother? ---

It's fast loading, tons of free features, looks clean and aesthetically pleasing and is a must for all SEO webmasters.

--- Similar Companies ---

Google Analytics - this is the daddy of the analytics world but for this I feel GoingUP triumphs. Google looks very statistical based and looks quite rigid, yet GoingUP looks more modern and has a more visually appealing way of viewing statistics for your site.

--- Summary ---

I frequent this site more than i do Google Analytics now as i prefer the layout of GoingUP. It has everything I need to know about my sites visitors all in one place and the majority of it being on the summary page and updates very frequently with any changed data.

Summary: It has everything I need to know about my sites visitors all in one place. It is that simple...

NOTE: Please bear in mind that you will not be able to see your site data until up to 24 hours after placing the code on and updating your website. It takes a short while to begin gathering statistical data on your visitors so be patient. You will not regret the wait I can assure you. ;)

Happy site building
