If you need support from Yola please contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or make use of our live chat service! We are working on a new approach to community-based support and during this transition period we are not adding any new threads to this forum. Many thanks to everyone who has participated over the years and we look forward to unveiling a new peer-to-peer support system soon!
If a person types in simply the URL of a site then the default with Yola is the home page.
If you are using a link to another site through a second site then the link can be created so that a specific page opens when the link is clicked on. Here of course you could offer optional pages on a site to go to. The syntax for a specific page always has the page name appended to the URL. For example: http:// mysite.com/howto or http://mysite.com/alternative-page
Will your first page contain a lot of information, i.e. texts and pictures, or rather just the links to the other pages? If it doesn't, then it's not so recommendable to create such a page because as it needs to be your index page, it impacts your performance with search engines. What are you exactly trying to achieve? Would you like to offer your website in two different languages?
