Hello The Happy Piper

Search engines like Google follow a set of criteria on how to index your website (and if to index it at all). One important thing to consider is to regularly update your website and to avoid frequently made errors that can put search engines off.

For more and detailed information, please see our SEO Tutorials and the Why can't I google my site Tutorial.

Hello Happy Piper, I just googled "Piper in Kent" with the quotation marks and pulled up sites that could be yours. Please include your site address in every post so that we can see what you are talking about. Best wishes,

It really is content.

I suggest that you add more information I have mentioned previously.
A blog can help. A guest written article. Events that are happening or have happened.

More images; A facebook page.

Try some or all of these and see how it goes.

Glad that you are on Facebook. You can create a "page" (it's a specific definition) which is an ideal business facility within FaceBook. Then you can link your yolasite to your Facebook Page. This is explained within Facebook Help sections. I am happy step through this with you if you like. Let me know. You are welcome to contact me at gop@designscent.com

You can create a blog within your Yola site. You just create a New Page and select Blog rather than a standard page as your option in that selection.

This allows you to post your writings on any topic that you feel is of good content and of interest to people. These posts will also be picked up by the search engines and indexed. You can also link your blog to Facebook so it becomes a larger readership than just one web-site. Your friends will pick up on it and go through the Like processes which of course then goes out to their friends.

A guest writer would be someone you feel can make a good story on your topic and email it to you for inclusion ideally in your blog I think. It adds variety and vitality to your site.

Have you submitted the site to search engines? There are several free website submission services who will submit the site to several search engines (including Google) at one request. Just google "Free Website submission".

Look through the list of sites they submit to, and remove any you don't like. Check the reply they give to you, some will say you need to approach the company separately, and give you a link to do this.

Some engines still use keywords, although Google doesn't any more.
