Hi dawntillduskcrafts,

Different styles have different editable areas. It sounds as though the one you have selected is narrow. It is designed to display as a narrow column down the center of the screen. There are many other styles with wider editable areas.

Unfortunately with a fixed template, it is not possible to change the width of the site. My suggestion is that you try a different style to see which one best suits your needs. We have an excellent style guide which will help you choose the best style to fit your needs, here is a link: Yola Style Guide.

I do think it is time for new styles to take advantage of the fact that wide screen monitors now out number the 4:3 screens. It would be great having many complete pages above the fold or right at it.

Hello dawntillduskcrafts,

You can change your styles with ease as this will not affect your content. The only thing that it will affect is if you have added in a custom banner or background. You will need to re-add these back in.

The 2 widest styles that I can think of are in the Free selection of styles: Midnightalley and Emerald.

Are there wide styles in the Premium section? Midnightalley and Emerald do not support submenus.

Hello Herb,

I think your best chances with premium wide styles would be:

In the Cloud
Professional Slate
Corporate Blue
Modern Bakery.

The best wide, but non premium, is Squeaky Clean with a custom menu.
