How hard can it be for Telkom to fix?
Once again they are proving how incompetent they are...

The weird thing is nothing looks wrong.
I'm not even going to try and phone because that will get nowhere.
Someone said they contacted Telkom but to no avail
I think Yola should just contact Telkom and find out whats wrong

Please sort this out! We are loosing here big time.
Just to give you an update on what has been happening. This is what we've determined so far. This is a Telkom issue as those who are not using Telkom can see your site and well as their own sites without any probelms. We have been able to track the problem to Telkom's router. As much as we wish we could resolve this for you, it is an issue that needs to be addressed by Telkom. We have already reported this problem to them and you can help us by also contacting Telkom and reporting this to them. Hopefully, with people reporting this issue, Telkom will be able to address this more quickly.
I know that that this is frustrating and inconveniencing. I do hope that you can all hang in there as this is sorted out. Please be rest assured that others who are not using Telkom are able to visit your sites!
Anyway, This needs to be stopped once and for all. Maybe one of the Yola employees should set up an appointment with them (once this is sorted out) and find a means to prevent this from happening again. Anyone considering their 8ta offering?
To make this more confusing the error on my side seems to change every few days from; cookie deactivated, to gateway error, to decoding error, then its fine for a few days. Also when my PCs give me errors my iPod on the same internet connection can access www.yola.com no problem.
So if this is Telkom then how does my ipod get through, when my PCs can't, all on my internet through WebAfrica and thus Telkom. I did however not experience this problem on a Vodacom 3G/HSDPA connection!
However, even when I have NO access to www.yola.com I can access my sites and everybody else's.
Does anybody know what happened to Telkoms 24 hour fault report line (10219)? it's not accessible outside office hours any more so I doubt that this problem will be solved before Monday. Don't think how they figured faulty lines only keep to office hours...
My website is running a Valentine's Day special that some of my customers won't be able to see due to their incapability to tend to this problem with the urgency it requires.
I'm sure that this is quite frustrating and quite inconveniencing as well. I will ask Jeremy if he able to provide any insight.
@ Angela - can you please share any information that Telkom provided when you spoke with them? This may give us something to work from if we know what their reasoning is.
My name is Jonathan, and I run the Operations Team at Yola, and we've been battling with this issue for over a week now. Unfortunately, though, the problem is not directly within our control. Since the only people having problems loading their sites seem to be on Telkom/SAIX, we must conclude that there is a network problem somewhere between Telkom users and our servers. I almost wish that the problem were directly with our servers, because then we would be able to do something about it actively.
We have been collecting traceroutes from all of you (and thank you very much for taking the time to help us with this debugging!), and we're pretty sure we have managed to narrow down the problem to one or two links. I am in communication with the SAIX network administrator, and we hope we can get this issue ironed out successfully.
In the meantime, we want to do everything we can to mitigate the problem for you guys. We can create a temporary workaround per site, so that you will at least be able to continue working for now. However, I must stress that the workaround will be temporary - it will be sufficient for now, but could break later on if things change. For this reason, I'd like to ask all of you with broken sites to mail our support team, so that they can add the workarounds individually. They will keep track of the sites to which they do this, so that when this issue is fixed, they can revert your site to normal, thus making sure you're in no danger of things breaking later on down the line.
I'd like to thank you all again for your patience and assistance while we debug this (and thanks also to the Yola support team who have been working as the go-betweens, collecting your information and passing it on to me!). Hopefully it won't affect you for much longer.

My sites do not load for me!!!!!.
My site doesn't want to load aswell. www.karmedo.com and my client is also really getting frustrated. I understand that you are working on it, but will you please give me feedback when you receive it from telkom or your side regarding this big problem.
I hope that we and you guys at yola can fix this soon. Thanks
