I have three images on my home page and despite my resizing them with picnic to supposedly the same size they are still slightly different! I am dragging the red dot to make them the same but still one is wider!

That is strange. I would suggest going straight to Picnik and edit your photos. Then, download them and the upload them back into your file manager and see if that makes a difference?

Hey Jill,

If you put the original photos here I might be able to resize them with photoshop, if it makes a difference?

Hello Jill,

When you resize them in PicNik are you setting them all to have the same dimensions as well as clicking Keep Proportions. If one of the images is naturally wider than the others, if the proportions are kept, it will look a bit different. If you choose to not keep proportions the images will all be exactly the same size if you set them all to be the same.

Can you give us a link to the page you have these on so we can take a look.

Thanks,
Emmy

Ok, so you are bringing each image into PicNik, changing the dimensions to be X x X and removing the keep proportions check?

Do you have a live page you can show us with the images on it so we can take a look?

Can you possibly publish it to a free subdomain so we can take a look, and then you can unpublish it? I would really like to have a look at the images and see what I can suggest.

Hi Jill,
I think what is happening is that you are not un-checking the Keep Proportions; or you are not clicking Save to Yola when the change is complete.

I uploaded both of those images into a file manager and looked first at the image with the vehicle and say that it had dimensions of 366x280. I then brought the image with the candy into PicNik and unchecked Keep Proportions and gave it the dimensions of 366x280 so it would have the same dimensions as the other on. I then clicked Save to Yola, confirmed replacement and the new image replaced the old.

Can you give this another try making sure to uncheck the Keep Proportions box and also Save to Yola.

Yes the postal van was 336x280 (my typo, good catch!), the candy image was 366x366; so I brought the candy image down to 338x280 as well. Thanks a lot for helping Jill out on this one Connor! I just wanted to help her through this in the site builder if it was possible in case there are more images that need to be resized at a later date.

Hey Jill,

Here is the photo of the sweets, the same size as the postal van:

Did you say you had three photos you wanted the same, because I could only see two there?

There should be a re-sizer built-in to Yola use it to re-size the display.
