Get rid of "border" on website. There are transparent white "squares" on my website, which have become more prominent after using my custom design for the background. How can I get rid of these?

And I also have white boxes around my text.

How can i remove all of this so its just the text and images, etc?

Hi quasimr93,

Could you please tell me what theme/style you are using for your site so I can take a look at the CSS? It appears to be a 'background-color' property that's creating the unwanted white box around your text and main content area.

I'd like to help you!

Regards,
Brandon

Thanks for replying Brandon! I can't remember what theme I was using as I have since changed it but I am pretty sure the theme just had the white faded box, and it wasn't as prominent against the original theme's background.

I have now changed the theme to a basic one. However, one thing that annoys me is that all of the themes dont seem to allow you to use the space on the sides, but all your content must be in the "middle" of the page. i.e. the side margins are too big

Hello qasimr93,

We have made the content area in the middle of your page to ensure that your visitors do not need to resort to horizontal scrolling when viewing your site on various screen resolution sizes.
