Get rid of Yola Advertisement when you purchase Custom Domain?? :-)

I understand that you have to get enough money, etc. but I think that if you lowered the prices that your chances of getting MORE money actually raises. Because if one store costs $10 for a meal and the store across the street costs $5 for the same meal, more people will go to the $5 meal more so even though the price is lower more people will purchase the cheaper meal so more people and all in all, the people collecting the money will actually get more than the expensive store.

Are you following? :-)

I'm not trying to rip you off or sound ungrateful, I am very grateful to Yola. But it's just some suggestions that I have because your prices seem to be pretty high and I don't think A LOT of people will want to purchase a site that costs that much.

Also I think that when you purchase your "custom domain" or whatever it should get rid of the yola advertisment on your page, after all you did pay for it. Juuuust a suggestion :-)

Thanks again for everything, Yola!!!

It's okay if it's not possible it's just I (and I'm sure other people) don't want to pay $100 just to get rid of that advertisement (I'm aware that you can do much more with Silver but I don't need to do much more than get rid of the advertisement.) I personally don't care if it says "yolasite" in the Uniform Resource Locator or not :-) and I don't like the advertisement but it's not too bad and I don't want to pay $100 constantly just to get rid of it.

Sorry this sounds like I'm complaining but I'm not. Thank you so much Yola!

I agree this is a great idea even though I am a silver user. With the new price increase I think it would definitely increase sales and make heaps of people even more happy than they already are :). So I definitely like this idea.

Kind Regards
Amar

P.S There are a LOT of tags for this topic. :P

Hello Kokuro Karate,

Thank you for the post and sharing your idea.

Yola Silver is a package that includes various features (credits, removal of the link, access to premium styles etc). A domain purchase is just that - a domain purchase with no extra frills. If you choose to rather upgrade to Silver, you will be able to get a whole lot of extra's that free or Bronze account holders don't have. We are also adding to the Silver package - very soon Yola Silver account holders will be able to have dropdown menu's on their website.

I'll pass on your comments onto our product development team.

What if there was a thing |ie| Custom Domain, Silver, Super thingy that I forgot it's name that would JUST get rid of the advertisement? So that Yolasite part on the site URL would still be there and it would still advertise you but you wouldn't have that big advertisement (you would pay a separate package to get rid of it)??

Because I never even realized the Yola advertisements on pages, I always saw the Yolasite part in the site name, that's actually how I learned about Yola in the first place, because of the domain :-)

Just a suggestion. Thank you so much, I'm sorry for taking your time

As in, you know how you can pay $18+ to get a custom domain? That maybe there should be another (different) package for the same price that instead of getting with of Yolasite, it would get rid of the advertisements on the page but not the custom URL (without the Yolasite part. As in that would still be there)

Thank you!!!

Hello Kokuro

Thank you for your suggestion. We are constantly evaluating our pricing and packages. We do not have any plans at this time to offer Yola Link removal as an ala cart feature. We do appreciate hearing though our users' input!
