Hi preserveitltd,

At the moment your website is publishing to the free Yola sub-domain. If you want your site to point to a custom domain eg., then you will need to purchase one. You can do this through your Yola account.

We have a tutorial that contains the steps to purchasing a domain from Yola: Buying your own domain from Yola.

These are the steps to purchasing your domain with Yola:

1. Click on the yellow "Publish my Site" button on the toolbar.
2. Select "Get a custom domain", enter your desired domain name in the box provided and availability will be checked.
4. If the address is available, choose your options and follow the steps to purchase your domain name.

If your site is already published to a subdomain, you can easily purchase your own domain when you click on "Update my Site". The subdomain will automatically redirect to your new address ( This way, you won't lose the value of any links or visitors that only know your old location and they'll see your new domain. Alternatively you can choose to upgrade to a Professional domain from the My Sites page after logging in on

Please note, it can take up to 48 hours for domain names to be transferred and your site to be up and running (however, it's often a lot quicker than that).

If you have already purchased a domain, please let me know, as this is obviously a separate problem, yet is easily fixed.
