Glitch in uploading files from my computer. Help?!

My files won't upload from my computer - ever time I try, the blue bar moves across as if the files have uploaded, but then nothing happens, the dialogue box stays there and the files do not appear. help?

Hi Linda,

I'm sorry to hear you are struggling to upload files and we would like to find out why this is happening. Please can you check the following:

1. What browser and browser version are you using? If you are using Google Chrome, please make sure you are running the latest version of Chrome.
2. Check what version of Flash you have installed. In order to find out click this link. Please ensure you are using the latest version of Flash: http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewC.... We have found that if you uninstall and then reinstall Flash that can solve the problem.
3. If you have access to a different browser, computer or network environment please try to upload a file and let us know if the error still occurs or if you get a different result.
4. Please can you try logging out of your Yola account and clearing your browser's cache (this link has more information: http://www.google.com/support/account....
5. Please can you make sure that your browser is set to accept cookies from Yola (this link has more information: http://www.google.com/cookies.html).

If none of the above steps help, please let us know:

1. Your site's URL.
2. What type of file you're trying to upload and what size it is.

Hi,

I've tried all of this, and it still is not working. Am using firefox for Mac. Is very strange - particularly that the file appears to be uploading and then the dialogue box just stays there forever unless I cancel

Also have tried with a number of jpg files, all under 10M

This does sound quite frustrating! I'm wondering if you will be able to try uploading your files using a different computer?

You can also send us one example of a file through email (support@yola.com) and we can try to upload this for you and see if run into any issues.

Same problem with me too !!!

When I try uploading through mobile internet it works. But when I try to do the same with My regular LAN Connection - the same above mentioned problem (the blue bar moves across as if the files have uploaded, but then nothing happens, the dialogue box stays there and the files do not appear) is encountered.

What could be the possible glitch in my network settings ? or as I heard - Is it due to some virus which do not allow downloading or uploading at/from sites ???

My site being www.eshahzad.yolasite.com, and I am using mozilla 3.6.8

I'm sorry to hear that this is happening to you as well. I do wonder if it is your connection as you seem to have indicated that it's okay with your other mobile internet connection. You may want to talk with your ISP providers to see if there is any issues.

It could possibly be a virus that was download through a program you may have installed. Do you recall if you have done this lately?

Hopefully, together we can work on this and try to get this resolved.

I am also having this same issue. Have tried uploading my files, about a million times. Have tried all of the above suggestions and nothing is working. HELP!

The things to consider with file uploading

Clear browser
Update Flash
Update Java
File sizes
File types
Then different browser
Different computer
Different ISP
