Noticing overall sluggishness editing in the Sitebuilder

What did you people do ??? All was working just fine and you went and changed something. Now I can't get pages to load and pages will not edit. I've tried to follow some of your instuctions but they do not seem to be working either. I've noticed that others are having some real issues also. Go back to the other method you were using. Things were just fine ....

Our executive team met this morning regarding the trend we are seeing of complaints that the Sitebuilder is slow to load and navigate within. I then met with our VP of engineering to go over some of the monitoring reports we utilize to alert us to problems in the Sitebuilder. While we have witnessed a slight upswing in activity over the past 3 months, the general trend from our reports indicate that it's not off the charts. The majority of calls to the Sitebuilder take less than a second to load, and at peak times it averages 3-5 seconds. We have set up new filters surrounding the complains above that we will continue to monitor.

In the meantime, if you can share any additional information about what specifically hangs for you, for example, detailed reports about what you are doing in the Sitebuilder when you notice a lag of more than 5 seconds, we will use this information to set up even more specific filters to monitor.

I want to emphasize that we are actively working to resolve this issue regardless of your participation in this troubleshooting process, however any feedback you can provide will be given priority by our engineering team.

We have been giving frequent updates on this topic. If you read up through the posts you'll see ways in which we are isolating the specific incidents in users accounts causing the slowness reported with great success. We are also implementing more monitoring on specific Sitebuilder actions based on the concerns raised here.
