My domain is setup through Godaddy and I had originally published my site through them. I have updated my A record and it is now pointing to Yola but when I go to my url (mercerguideservice.com), I get a mix of my old website from Go daddy and my new published site through Yola??????

Here's a screenshot of what I'm seeing

It doesn't appear to be a mix. Maybe you just need to clear your browsers cache

Hi Copilotchuck

The reason for this is that you have two conflicting A records set up. It seems that when you added the A record for Yola you did not remove the GoDaddy A record. Your two websites will show on an alternating basis until you remove the old A records.

You need to remove the 2 A records for: 64.202.163.170

This should solve your problem. If not, please let us know.

I only have one A record showing in the GoDaddy DNS Control Panel. It is pointing to the Yola IP. Do I need to have a second one of some kind? There is no other A record showing. I have even deleted all A records and then created a new one pointing to Yola.

Hello copilotchuck,
You do need to have two A Records set up to support the www and non www version of your domain. You need to have one A Record with the hostname "@" and one with the hostname "www".

If you have any trouble with this please email us at support@yola.com and we can look into it further for you.
