Godaddy won't allow both A records with same IP address - HELP!!

I can't seem to get Godaddy to allow me to create two A records that point to the same IP address. Every time I try to create the second A record, I get an error that it already exists. The first is host "@". The second A record host I've tried has been "www" and "" but nothing works! Help!

My main goal here is so I can get my domain to stop redirecting to the subdomain. I've tried changing it in advanced settings, but my domain name isn't in the drop down choices. I figured it was because I didn't have two A records.

Hi trippingtuesdays,

Would you mind replying with your domain name so I can check to see if it's already pointing to Yola?

For step by set instructions on setting up your GO Daddy domain to point to Yola please see this link. Setting up your GoDaddy domain.

The A record has to be different. From the message you're receiving, it seems to me like you're trying to create two A records with the same name.

"an error that it already exists"

This should only pop up if you try to create an A record that already exists such as...

A record 1: my-site
A record 2: my-site

A record 1: my-site
A record 2: my-subdomain
