I want to add a Google Ad Words Conversion to track sales. I created the Conversion on Ad Words and they gave me the HTML Conversion code. I put the conversion code into an HTML widget on my page, but my Conversion is still showing "Unverified". Where should I place the conversion code?

Hello Peggy

According to the Google help page on conversion tracking (step 2), you were right to add their code using an HTML Widget. Did you follow the exact steps mentioned under step 2, like adding that "onclick" tag, etc.?

It is possible that it will take some time until the verification is effective.

What you can also try is to paste the code into the head section of your website. If you have Yola Silver, you have access to that section when you go to Site > Site Settings > Tracking > Site Tracking Code. Please note, we only recommend advanced users to use this as we cannot guarantee that your code will work without having tested it.

You're welcome to come back to us if these options should still not work.
