Hello,
Here's how to add Google Analytics:

1. Go to Google Analytics and sign up for a free account.
2. Type in the URL of your site.
3. Copy the verification code provided by Google.
4. Go to Yola and drag and drop an HTML widget at the bottom of each page you want to track. You could place the code anywhere on your page, but always adding it in the same spot helps you keep track of where you have placed it.
5. Paste the code from Google into the dialogue box of the HTML widget on each page.
6. Republish your site.

If the code is installed correctly you will not see anything on your page, but Google will use this invisible tracking code to gather data on your site. Once you update your site, it be verified and you can log in to your Google Analytics account to find out all the information you want to know about the people who have visited your site. Please be aware that it takes 24 hours for Google Analytics to collect the first lot of data about your site.

Note: Google Analytics sometimes gives a Javascript error on drop. This is a known issue, but will not interfere with Google's ability to verify your site. If you get this error, simply navigate to another page on your site and all should be fine.

Kind Regards,
Emmy

Hi Emmy,

I have added the code to home page, but what I can't find is, the code in the Google Analytics dashboard, to add to the sites other pages. It shows the UA-xxxxxxxx-x bit, but not the full code, do you know where it is ?,

thanks, co2green.

Here's how to find your Google Analytics code:

1. Log into your GA account
2. Click Analytics Settings in the top left
3. To the far right of your domain name it will say Edit, click this
4. On the right, above the area that says Main Website Profile Information click on Check Status
5. Your code will be on this page

You can use the same code for every page of your site. Hope this helps!

Hi there Sonia,

It should be with the domain you have pointed to your Yola site as your Yola sub-domain will redirect to this.
