Hello,

If you buy a domain from Yola, we can assist you with email setup. If you a buy a domain from another registrar they will be able to assist you with this.

However, email setup is not available for free subdomains. The reason for this is that you do not have access to the DNS management you need to create your CNAME, TXT and MX (mail exchange) records if you are using a subdomain.

This might be something we can provide in future, but for now you need a bought domain if you want to set up email for your site.

It's not possible to add a CNAME, TXT or MX record to a subdomain because DNS settings are not available for subdomains. There's no way around this other than by purchasing your own top-level domain.

@Marije: How does cz.cc do it? They provide DNS for all sub domains *.cz.cc and they have TXT, MX, CNAME, etc. records. I wonder how they did that. Do you know?

Those domains are different to .yolasite.com subdomains - if you would like to know how they work, perhaps it would be worth contacting them? I'm assuming that they give you the ability to add DNS to their domains while .yolasite.com addresses don't have that feature at the moment.

Yeah, but I can't really contact them. They take about 2 weeks or more to respond unless they got better support since the last time I contacted them.
