Google Apps seems to want me to verify ownership ownership twice, how?

My question is for my website

I have verified ownership by the TXT / CNAME route and that shows as confirmed in Google.

However, rather than letting me move onto setting up my email address(s) google is now asking for a second verification, but I don't think any of their options are possible with my Yola package.

The four options appear to be:
1. Domain name provider - Already verified using this method.
2. Add an HTML meta tag to your site's home page.
3. Upload an HTML file to your site.
4. Use your Google Analytics account.

It is my understanding that due to the way yola works I cannot access the parts of a web page that would allow options 2 or 4 and when I uploaded the file provided by google, the file could not be found.

What would you suggest, many thanks

This is confusing Charles,

After verification it should be plain sailing to move onto the addition of whatever GApps you need.

Can I suggest that you clear your browser cache and try again. I suppose it s possible that Google are doing some developmental stuff that has caused an issue as I see that the Google Analytics is a new option for verification, and wondering if this is still being ironed out ?

I would wait a day and try the Gapps addition then.
