How do I put a google conversion tracking code on the 'Thank you' part when customers submit a form?( I used the form widget) Google says 'For example, paste this code into the web page that the user sees after signing up for your newsletter' .

I have entered the Google Analytics code to the bottom of all my pages and now I'm stuck with how to do this part.

Thanks,
Thomas

Hello Thomas,

I wonder if you created a redirect URL on your form to a page that contained your Google conversion code, if that would work?

If you would like your Yola Form to redirect to another page on your site after it is submitted, you can do this by adding a bit of HTML code. Here are the steps:
1. Open your Form by clicking on the little Edit button in the upper left hand corner of the widget.
2. Click on the "Settings" tab.
3. In the field available you will see the text your visitor will see when they submit the form. You can paste this code below the text which will cause the form to redirect:

meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2; url=http://www.yola.com">

"2" is how many seconds it waits before it redirects - you can change this number, "url" is the URL it redirects to, so, replace the URL in the above tag with the one for the page you want to link to.

Then on this page I would try adding your Google conversion code. I'm not 100% sure if this would work but it may be worth a try!

Hello there. I tried adding that code to the form settings with another url placed instead of the yola.com. However, it does not redirect after the form has been filled, instead the code is visible on my yola page.

Can anyone help me solve this problem?

Many thanks in advance

Hello dovedale.properties,

Do you mind sharing your URL so that I can take a look at why this is happening?

No problem Sanja. My yola url is http://richibrown.yolasite.com/contac...

When they submit the form on this page, I want to automatically redirect them to this website: http://www.richibrown.com/

However, as you can see after filling in the form, all I seem to get is the code on the yola website displayed to customers, which isn't very good!

Hello dovedale.properties,

My apologies. I should have double-checked my code. It was missing a < in front of the meta. It should be this:

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="2; url=http://www.yola.com">

I have fixed this up for you in your Sitebuilder. You just need to republish your site.

Please let me know if there are any further troubles.

Thank you very much Sanja, that is much appreciated.

I have another slight problem. My website seems to run quite slow compared to others like google. It takes a good 10 seconds to load sometimes and this is a major problem if my customers are having the same problem. It is also quite slow when redirecting them to the other website.

Is there any reason for this or is it just a problem from my end?

Many thanks in advance
