google maps has defaulted to San Fransisco. All my shop details have disappeared and the Widget refuses to delete from the page so that I can rebuild it.

Hi phamtey,

We are experiencing a bug with our Business Map - our engineers are debugging this issue and are working on a fix.

In the meantime, there is a workaround that you can use.

1. Go to Google Maps (maps.google.com).
2. Enter your address in the box provided and hit enter.
3. On the far right side of your map, click on "Link".
4. Under "Paste HTML to embed in website" - copy the code provided.
5. In your Sitebuilder, drag over an HTML Widget and paste in the code.
6. Save and republish your site.

Please let us know if you have any trouble with the workaround provided. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you and thank you for your patience as we get this sorted out.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I'll give it a go. It's not a huge issue, just annoying. What you're suggesting makes sense.

OK That works except the original frame and widget containing US map refuses to delete. If i go in to edit it, I see all my original stuff, map, address, phone no, but it won't let me save it and it won't let me delete it. So I now have two maps which is worse really.

OK I've worked around it by creating a new page, copy and paste all the other stuff in, using your workaround for Google maps temporarily, deleted the original page and renamed new one. Change navigation and republish. Not quite what it was, but satisfactory until you resolve the issue.
