Hello Vivek,

I'm sorry you are feeling frustrated, I can help! Are you possibly seeing the Google search bar in the Site Builder, but not on your published site? If this is the case, can you click the yellow Update Site button, this will apply any changes you have made to your site.

If that doesn't solve the problem, can you please give us a link to the page you have put the Google search bar on and we can take a look.

Hi Vivek,

Can you share a link to the page with us, please?

These are the usual steps for adding a search box. Can you read through them and let us know at what point they stop working for you, please?

You can add a Google search box by using the Widgetbox Gallery:

1. Drag and drop a Widgetbox Gallery widget onto your page.
2. A dialog box will open, click on the Google category.
3. Click on 'Google Search'.
4. Edit your settings (to add your site URL and your logo).
5. Click on the green 'Get Widget' button and it will be saved and added to your page.
6. Save and preview your page to view the widget.

You can also add a Google search box with Google Gadgets:

1. Open the widgets folder - in the side bar at the right of your screen.
2. Drag and drop a Google Gadgets widget onto your page.
3. A dialog box will open up with a link to Google Gadgets. Click on this link.
4. You will then be taken to Google Gadgets, find a search box, customize it as desired and copy the code.
5. Paste the code into the dialogue box in Yola.

That's it, you will have a search box embedded into your site.

We do want to help you sort this out.
