Hello Gordon,

Google's verification procedures can be arduous and I know it can seem like a wrestling match. I am happy to help if I can. Let me know here.

If you have paid for a service and want to cancel with Yola you could send an email and discuss your options with their people support@yola.com

Hi
Thanks for any help.

Followed the process below for my site aporscha.co.uk using a txt file, 72 hours later its still not verified.

How do you get someone from Google to find out what the problem is! so you can fix it!?

Regards

Gordon
Log into your Google Apps account.
On the "Setup" page, click on "Verify Domain Ownership" and then click "Next" to begin.
On the next page, select the tab called "Alternate methods".
Select "Add a DNS record to your domain's configuration", and from the drop-down box select "Other".
Google is in the process of changing the way they do domain verification, so you will either receive a TXT record or a CNAME.
The TXT record will look something like this:
google-site-verification=3gx2xVdwXE6QxTqQWNVfv7zOpWvEjGhMPeLbACv16yQ.
The CNAME will look something like this:
3gx2xVdwXE6QxTqQWNVfv7zOpWvEjGhMPeLbACv16yQ.
Select the TXT record or CNAME, right-click and copy it.
Log into your Yola account and make sure you are on the My Yola page.
Click on "Domains" and, next to the domain you are using for your email address, click on "Advanced settings".
Click on "Set up email for your domain" and choose the "Configure your email" option.
Click on "Gmail (Google apps)", paste the TXT record or CNAME into the field that says "Google App Set-up (CName)", and click on "Submit". Please note: Although the field says CNAME, it will work with a TXT record.
The TXT record / CNAME will be added to your DNS within 48 hours, but is usually a lot quicker. Once this period has elapsed, go back to your Google Apps account and click on the "Verify" button that was visible on the same page as the Google Apps TXT record you've just added to your DNS settings. Your domain will now be verified and you can start using the Google Apps mail services.

OK. Then I am hoping it's a delay in propagation. This can take up to 48 hours but I have never experienced it that long. It's a figure that is promoted as being the outer.

What I could do is have a look at your DNS records through an independent tool and see if they have been added?

I would need your web-site name only and I can do it immediately (?)

Hello Gordon,

Gop is right - it seems your domain is set up correctly and your MX records are there so your email should work and your domain will be verified.

If you still can't access it, please let us know.

(Thanks again Gop)

Hi Gordon

Thanks for adding your domain. I've checked the MX and TXT records of your domain and, as Gop has mentioned, it is all set up correctly on your DNS record. It can take up to 48 hours for the records to be updated and unfortunately there's not much we can do on our side aside from checking that it is set up.

Once it is set up, you will be able to login and administer your account at this link: https://www.google.com/a/aporscha.co.uk.

I see that it is still showing an error, so you may need to wait a little longer.

I hope it is resolved soon!
