Google verification procedure failure

I have tried to follow the Google webmaster verification procedure based on pasting a Google provided metatag into Site Settings - but Google then gives me a verification failure message stating that the metatag (pasted from Google) is incorrectly formatted. As I cannot see the raw html of my home page I cannot double check that Site Settings has added the tag correctly. Has anyone else successfully used this process to achieve Google verification?

Thanks Darren.

twt_marriott Yola doesn't use the meta-tag option for setting up verifications. There is an alternate strategy: Google Webmasters which will get you going with this.

Yola are looking at stream lining their google connections and i presume that this will be one of the utilities that will in future be automated. Just take your time and I'm confident that it will work for you.
