How do I set up a sitemap that shows the menu layout that I have? I want it to show as follows:

Home.php

Times.php
- 22.php
- 31.php
- 32.php
- 41.php
- 111.php
(Continue with the rest...)

Maps.php
- 22#map.php
- 31#map.php
- 32#map.php
- 41#map.php
etc...

About.php
- Gallery.php
- fleet.php

passes.php
news.php
contact.php
careers.php

So that Google may apply the Sitelinks feature to search results.

You don't need to do any of that...Yola makes our sitemap.xml's for us you just need to submit them.

Ah yes but has it been optimised for Sitelinks? Because the site I have really deserves it.

Actually sitemaps are not related to sitelinks.
Sitemap.XML -> just a form of raw data. Also, Google asks you to put non-themed sitemaps when possible.

Sitelinks(I'm not talking about Breadcrumbs) are mainly from Main Menu.
The best solution is structuring your content. In your main menu, give EACH item a big weight. Do not add Contact Us or other links in main menu.

See mine at http://texby.com (top left corner).
Google has found sitelinks in my site.

I have been showing site links for my site for almost two years...Those are at the whim of Google and you are more likely to get them because they feel your site is trustworthy and has good content. They will also change at times..different pages more page or less pages etc.

Hello all,
Thanks everyone for your help on this thread :)

Just wanted to chime in here. You should definitely submit the xml sitemap that Yola generates for you to Google, here is a link with more information on Verifying your site with Google Webmaster as well as submitting a sitemap.

In terms of Sitelinks, this is determined greatly on the link structure of your site including link anchor text, here is a link with more information from the mouth of Google: Sitelinks. I would suggest that you also click into the blog post mentioned: Read a blog post about the importance of link structure as this was very informative.

I can see how an HTML sitemap could be helpful in this regard. To create an HTML sitemap, such as you described above, you could do this with Text links in a Text Widget. To create a these text links:

1. Drag a Text Widget onto the page
2. For your first link, type in the link text (anchor text)
3. Click on the Link icon on the Edit Toolbar
4. Choose the page of your site you wish the link to go to

I hope that information is helpful!

Kind Regards,
Emmy
