I'm having trouble getting my site to be verified by Google Webmaster Tools. I've added the DNS record, the Google Analytics account code and the meta tag to my site and re-published after each, yet it still won't verify. I'm not sure what else to do, is there anyway you can take a look and get this resolved please?

Hi Nazlie,

My url is http://www.excelsiortaxservices.ca.

I'm not sure you can also help me with this issue as well?

I have an old currently inactive Company "Excelsior Tax Services Inc." I had a phone line through telus but never actually go to setting up a website through them, yet there is a site for it. The URL for it is http://excelsior-tax-services-inc.alb.... Is there any way you can bring it under my account so that it doesn't show in google search results. It only shows my old address and disconnected phone number but I wouldn't mind making it disappear for now if possible

Hello juliank.etaxsvcs,

Thanks for sharing your URL. I'm wondering if you have entered your site in Google Webmaster as www.excelsiortaxservices.ca or excelsiortaxservices.ca? This will make a difference in being able to verify your site. Please be sure that whatever version (www or non-www) you are using on your published, the same is set up on your Google Webmaster. Please give that a try.

In regards to your second issue, it is not possible to upload an externally made site into Yola. You do need to recreate this. However, if you're wanting to point your custom subdomain to Yola, what you can do is make sure your subdomain is pointed to Yola's IP address: 184.72.229.176. Then, publish your site to a free .yolasite.com subdomain. You can find more information on creating your subdomain on this link: Creating subdomains with your Yola-bought domain.

Once you have done this you can let us know what your yolasite.com subdomain is and what custom subdomain you would like assigned to your site and one of our technical team will do it for you.

If I have misunderstood, please do let me know.
