Google have change the way you verify your site. Now you have to make a HTML file and uploaded it

Hello Shaq,

HTML is only one of the two options for verification. Synthasite recommends the meta tag method and that is still valid at this moment. Just checked here:

http://www.google.com/support/webmast....

So you don't have to make an HTML file and upload it.

There's a tutorial on Synthasite if you haven't read it on how to do it which is really well written and it works.

I checked the verification facility with Google and the meta tag method is still operational.

Where did you get your info from Shaq?
