I have site at http://bluetoothchat.synthasite.com/. But google won't index it. It reports two errors "Errors for URLs in Sitemaps" and "URLs not followed". When I click on either of the m I can see that the detail error is "Redirect error" for my index page.

Hi milan,

Does Google Webmaster give more information on the type of redirect error? (This link on their support page has more info: http://www.google.com/support/webmast....

Could you also check that you've submitted your site and sitemap as per our tutorial: http://www.synthasite.com/tutorials/g...

Hi Marije,

Yes. I've visited that page while I was still trying to fix the error myself. Type of the error is " Redirect error ", the first one in the table.

I've used that tutorial to submit site and sitemap. But I was thinking to do it again, maybe I made a mistake in the process?

Hi all,

I've just resubmitted my sitemap. It will take some before google crawlers try to index it again.

Hi all,

Me again. It seems that resubmitting my sitemap helped. Google now index my site, but just one page of four in total. Google webmaster tools still report that "Redirect error".
I was thinking about changing the template of the site. It seems to me that Googlebot somehow can't see links to other pages from home page.

I have the same problem. I've renamed the sitemap and resubmitted it. It worked for a bit, but now I get the redirect error again.

Hi james.billson,
Thanks for your patience while we took a look at this.

When you went through the verification process did you enter your domain name as http://mysite.com or as http://www.mysite.com? Notice one of them has the www and one does not?

Yola gives you the option to choose your primary domain as either the www version or the non www version. Whichever one you have chosen as your primary is how you need to enter it in Google Webmaster and then submit your sitemap based on that verification with the primary domain.

Can you check your Google Webmaster and make sure that you verified your domain with the primary (either the www or non www version).

Let me know if you have further questions on this.

Kind Regards,
Emmy
