Got menus?!

How about adding some more menu alternatives?
Maybe even add a tool for altering or modifying the menu and/or creating your own?
Something similar to all the one's that are around on the net, Flash builder, CSS menu generator etc etc. Which would all be cool tools to use for this except for the fact that there is no place to put the files needed to support it.
May be something worth looking into thought.

The whole link idea is alright and even adding my own code with the html widget to create a menu with java or similar, are good ideas.
A little innovation and experimenting can give you what you're looking for. Except for one thing that actually limits you somewhat.
You don't have a menu-less template at the moment, which in turn means that there will be a lot of stuff stacked on top of each other before my 'new' menu finally appears. Regardless of weather or not you hide the default menu.

My point is that maybe it would be a good idea to add a template without a menu or the ability to properly deactivate the existing menu and thus bump the first part of the page to where the menu would normally go when active.
As far as I know, you cannot populate the menu-area if hidden at the moment.

I know that you are working with the ability to populate more areas of the page, but I thought it would be worth mentioning as an idea.
I just want to contribute in any way or form in order of making this tool of 'website building made easy' better, since I really believe in what you have going here.

Another idea I have is to be able to hide the menu on chosen pages.
Right now you can chose to hide it everywhere or not at all.

Hi Patrik,

Your idea is great. I think that your last post is not quite right though?.

If you go to "edit Menu" you can move selected pages out of the active menu.

No no, that's not what I meant.
I meant to be able to change the menu on selected pages only, within the site. So that you can have the menu appear on one pages but not the other.
For example: Have it appear on the index page, but not on the contact page.

That's a really nice one - unfortunate about the bugs on the site, but maybe that's just temporary.
Clearly one of the better one's I've seen for free so far in terms of building.
Reminds me a lot of the overall feel of Synthasite.
Maybe Synthasite should partner up with these guys huh.

this is just one page of the site but check out the menu on the upper left for some great links to build menu's, nav buttons etc. http://www.htmlbasix.com/dhtmlMenus.s...

Denise PS Whoops, watch out for the dhtml menu, the software costs a bundle, nevermind, but, there are some free things on the site as well;)
