Hello.

I have been using the Yola builder for the last week or so, and really impressed, and so fun. I just have a couple of recommendation

1. Properties Layout
The layout which the windows text isn't that good. I think the window title should be above.

2. The previous style selection option.
I loved the old style, the new one is a little confusing at times.

3. Personal Folder.
I love the file manager and creating files. I was hoping that there could be a folder in the Widget Tab so you put your own in them. Esp when inserting the same file on the same page.

Thats my recommendations
____

Also just a question i am working on a Pro feature for our site, I was wondering do we have to pay the full 9.95US per account, or per user. This isn't a problem. If i am you guys when i am able to purchase can we do a mass payment for both accounts to remove the footer.

Also because i am helping with some emails, i noticed that a Yola user a couple of weeks ago asked how to site was created. I would be delighted to show everyone how it was made. Would i be able to post the creation Process?
____

Also can someone point me the direct of Get Satisfactions forum if they have one. I just have a recommendation for them.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for your feedback. The footer removal is account wide, so will apply to all of the sites in your account.

I'm not sure I totally understand point 3. You can create folders in your file manager.

By following these steps:
1. Click on the "File Manager" button on the Yola toolbar.
2. Click on the "New Folder" button that appears in the dialog box that open.
3. A prompt will appear, enter the name of your folder and click on "OK".
4. Your new folder has now been created.
5. To add files to the folder, simply double click on the folder. The folder will open and you can upload your files as per usual.

To move your files from one folder to another, follow these steps:

1. Click on the File Manager button in the Yola toolbar.
2. Right-click on the file and select "Copy".
3. Go to the new folder, right-click in the empty space and select paste.
4. Your picture will be pasted and you can go back and delete the older file by selecting right-click > delete.

Please remember that if your file has already been added to a page on your site, you need to follow these steps:

1. Click on 'Edit' on the top-left of the file.
2. Navigate to the file in your File Manager.
3. Click on 'Select'.
4. This will ensure that the correct path is being used for your file.

For more information see our File Manager tutorial here: http://www.yola.com/tutorials/file-ma...

Please let me know if I have misunderstood, or if I can help you with anything else.

Thats what i mean is for point 3, is having a My Files folder in the widget side bar. And enabling users to be able to put images, and files that they usally add to there site in the folder.

Basically another way to add files to your site, but a customizable folder

If you don't understand me just hit me up a email which is the best way to contact me. Or i can just email you.

Hi Adam

Thanks for the suggestion. We have some plans for our Widget toolbox and content sidebar, but they do not currently include a folder for your site files.

Basically the content widgets currently live in the sidebar on the right, and actions to do with managing your pages and your site live along the top. The "manage files" button is therefore located in a logical and appropriate position.

We will continue to test, improve and evolve our user interface, but we are unlikely to consider a minor change like this, that interferes with the overall logic of how our site builder functions.

The current style selector is an interim feature, which we needed to release as a step to a greatly improved style selector we are working on. We are not planning to revert to the previous version, but we are looking forward to a new, better one!

Thanks Monique.
Great to also hear about the Style Selector as well. I also noticed that my question about removal of the footer. We are starting a Pro option. And we are developing a offline version first. But the problem is we are going to require another account, As we do not want certain staff accessing the Pro website. Each member we have the same website but different url, we only have 1 user and password option.

So for example our account 1 user account we would pay for footer removal. Would we have to pay again for account 2 which contains more accounts. If you don't understand let me know.

Also the offline version is a sample of what we want online using on of your styles, we will just upload the need images, and copy and paste the needed text
