There's a banner at the top of my website that I can't figure out how to change or take down. It's above the picture banner. It's green and has a lightbulb on it and is where King's Run Stable is written. Please help! It doesn't match my website at all. Thanks! I've attached a picture of what it looks like.

Hi Jacklyn,

Do you need to place your image banner where the green panel is. It looks as if the image has been placed in the body of the site?

Can you tell us what Style you are using?

Hello Jacklyn

You can remove the bulb image and replace it by the background colour (which means you will need to change the colour of the page heading as well if you keep the orange background colour). To achieve this you will need to edit your Site CSS which is available to Yola Silver or Yola Gold users. I'm happy to give you the steps and the code you need.

If you don't have Yola Silver or Yola Gold yet, what about an upgrade? You will get much more than that with our Premium packages, e.g. Mobile and Facebook Publishing with Yola Silver and an easy-to-use search engine optimization tool with Yola Gold. For more information on our Premium hosting packages please see our Pricing page or our tutorials Yola Silver FAQ and Yola Gold FAQ.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hello Olivia,

The CSS over -ride to remove the green banner:
body {
background-attachment: scroll;
background-color: #F87217;
background-image: none;
background-position: center top;
background-repeat: no-repeat;
margin: 0;
padding: 45px 0 0;
text-align: center;
}

To add this CSS you navigate:

Site>Site Settings>Content>Site CSS

Confirm that Disable Site setting over-rides is unchecked

Copy the code above and paste it into the Site CSS Overrides space.

Click OK. (Which will save that CSS)
.
Click on the top right hand side X of the Site Settings panel to return back to the active editing area and it will be effective immediately.

The heading is still there but masked because of the same colour as the background. You can mouse over the heading area and the edit box will appear which then will allow you to change the font colour for this heading.
