Hello Kevin

I can understand why you're feeling mad, angry and confused. We have been attempting to help you with this. Kershnee responded to you on the other thread that you posted: http://forum.yola.com/yola/topics/goo.... Since there was no response, it was assumed everything was fine. I'm sorry to hear that it was not in fact resolved.

Unfortunately, I am not seeing the ad incorrectly displayed. Please take a look at my screenshot:

Can you please share with us more details so that we can better troubleshoot what is happening?

1. What browser and browser version are you using?
2. Are you seeing this issue in the site builder or on your published site?

I hope that you can work with us as we try to sort this out.

I don't see the ad as cut off or incorrectly displayed. I see it as smaller than some of the ads I have placed on my site. If the "size" is your concern, this is how you create the ads within google adsense.

i am using vista ie and it was working fine in the beggining..check my second page..but i switch the format and it all went to S%$$. I dont understand why you cant see it..that large gap from the banner to the first add is where the google adsense is..and there is another at the bottom that wont even pop open?? this is horrible..i left weebly cause they take your adsense money and now i am finding these gitches..ahhhhhhhhh i published it ofcourse..

Hi Kevin,,

First of all if your ad sense ad's are not showing its not a Yola glitch.

The best thing to do would be to first of all fill out your meta content, keywords, window titles etc.

Then go back to your adsense account, check for any errors and if all is well re copy the adsense code into a new html widget.

If it still doesnt show after 10 minutes you should contact google about it.

Hi Kevin. Lee is one of our customers and a community champion who volunteers his time to help people. He is a very experienced website builder and he gives great advice. If his advice is not working for you, then you are welcome to ignore it, but he is only trying to help. He is not able to "fix it or dong" as Yola is not his website, and so if there is a fault on Yola's side it is certainly no fault of our good friend Lee's :) He is not copping out he is trying to help you and does not deserve to be spoken to this way. Perhaps you did not realize that he was a volunteer, but I thought I would let you know. However, I do work for Yola and I will do what I can to find out why your ads are not working.

Well I can't see the ad at all, it never loads, it's just white. So that leads me to believe there is something wrong with your Adsense account. Or it can be the ad from the website itself. I haven't seen anywhere on this thread that you have even checked your account with Google. Have you?

Hi Kevin

Looking at the source code on your website, I think what might have happened is that you have lost some formatting in your adsense code (it has put everything on 1 line).

The fix should be pretty simple. Basically, all you need to do is put all the javascript statements on new lines.

I tested it out on my YolaSite, and it seemed to work fine:

(I included the code in there so you can see what I changed)

nice..when i enter it ..it is the way it comes from google..the formatting is solid, strait up and down..so the same thing happen to my other add i took down that was a CPA ad..it went totally strait out..but it still showed.. so what i am saying is, the editor is making these changes so even if i line it up again.. will the editor push it strait?? or How can you keep it formatted?? because it starts off formatted correctly..??

Hey Kevin

I'm not quite sure why your text is getting scrunched up. Admittedly, sometimes the HTML editor tries to be a little too smart. However, once you manually add the spacing it should be ok ..

No..just a heads up..you cant use the normal editor..you have to go "advance tab" and use ONLY the google html editor.. someone should put all that stuff together and make it more organized and user friendly..u have html, google html, and another adsense html on in different spots..??

Hi Kevin,

I could be insulted by your commnents but i understand how frustrating website building can be at times, I'll still stand by my original statement and say it's nothing to do with Yola, i have all my adsense code in text widgets and they work fine.

Just so you understand the 'champ' badge next to my name just means i know what i'm talking about and Yola respect my advice, i dont work for Yola nor do i have any control over Yola what so ever, i've just used the product so much that i know it inside out and i was advising you what i would do.

Thats why i suggested going back and copying in the code again, i could see the code was inline on your page which is not how its given to you from Google.

Just to prove adsense (for me) works fine in text widgets see the image below:

see it showing on the page here http://hexham.info/business

PS. I used weebly for a month before moving to Yola, theres no way in the world you would have got this issue sorted out like this with them, your much better off at Yola, apart from the site builder being better you also have this forum and now the ad's are showing you will not have half of it stolen from you

No harm no foul Lee..ur very expression of knowing what its like to try to support yourself and/or web construct is enough to allow me to say "dont take it personal" its just business. The squeeky wheel has its oil and hats off to you for your selflessness of contributing to this site. The sarcasim was only intended for attention purposes. I try all routes in this game..you can understand. Good day sir...

Just a heads up - "using sarcasm for attention purposes" is a tactic that is not required in this community. You will find that everyone gets help and attention here and you can just ask for what you need without resorting to any forms of manipulation. Yola is well known for their customer service, so you don't need to "shout" to be heard! We help squeaky wheels too, not because they squeak but because it is what we do here, but it is a lot more pleasant without the noise ;)
