suddenly my site has been taken over by http://www.coloncleansecompany.com/

My domain www.bloodjunkie.com is registered with go daddy but is auto re-directing traffic to http://www.coloncleansecompany.com/ for no reason. when I try and edit the site and repost in MyYola. It also takes me to http://www.coloncleansecompany.com/. Have I been hacked? how do I fix this problem?

Help!

Hello drew,

If you are using FireFox then you can check "warn me when site websites try to redirect or reload the page"

Options>Advanced>General

This setting then requires that you acknowledge the requirement and for your case then you would be able to access the site and edit out the redirect on your web-site.

Hmm. this is weird. I can't seem to login to Yola using firefox. just tried the exact same email and password using Safari and it worked. But using firefox i just get "Sorry, and error occurred. Please try again."

OK. Try clearing your browser's cache and re-attempt the login. Just check also that you are using the latest version of FF

Hello drewrosas

This happens because there is a script on your home page which redirects to http://www.coloncleansecompany.com/. The problem is that this script will also redirect when you open your home page in the Yola Sitebuilder.

You will now need to re-create your home page. When you open your website in Sitebuilder, click on the "X" in your browser address bar to stop loading just before it redirects to the other website. Try a couple of times if you don't manage the first time. Your Sitebuilder must have been loaded as far as your Page Selector drop down menu is visible. Select a page different from your home page which should open fine. Then choose "Add a new page" from the upper menu bar and name it "index". You will be prompted a message asking you if you'd like to overwrite your index page. Click "Yes". Your index page (home page) will be overwritten by a new blank page, and your old index page will be deleted.

Now you can rebuild your home page, and then re-publish.

If you are experienced enough with code, you can copy your current source code of your home page, paste it into an HTML Widget on your new home page and remove the code section with the redirection. Then save, and you should have got your old home page back.

When you add custom code in future, we'd recommend to try this on a test page first. If it doesn't work the way you want, you will be able to delete that page, and try again.

Make a test site using a free Yola sub domain that is by far the best way to go.
